Attendance

Our college has high expectations regarding attendance and representing our college in Sports or Cultural Areas.

To represent our college in sporting or cultural areas, students need a current attendance percentage of 80%. This is calculated over the previous six weeks.

If your son/daughter has below 80% attendance, they will receive an email on a Monday and will be given one whole week to progress with their attendance.

This includes being on time for school and each period.

This means they will not be able to participate in sports from a week after that initial email unless they either get above 80% or are vigorously working towards that benchmark by returning to school each day over the next week.

This information is shared with coaches, students, and whānau to best support students in improving their attendance.

Thank you
